PROJECT RESULTS
Achieving the originally established goals is a significant accomplishment for SPIRITUALIST project which has successfully met its originaly established goals and concrete results. A key accomplishment is the creation of E-Curriculum content that gives a deep understanding of the issue surrounding hydroponic agriculture in technological high schools and equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the field of hydroponic agriculture. It highlights the need for hydroponic education, since the current initiatives are considerably limited. Well-designed modules in a hydroponic agriculture curriculum can significantly contribute to the development of both teachers and students. The modules provided teachers with opportunities for professional development by introducing them to new concepts, techniques, and technologies in hydroponic agriculture, facilitate networking and collaboration. Modules provide students with opportunities for hands-on learning, allowing them to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world situations and develop practical skills, prepare students for careers in agriculture, by equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed and help students to develop a global perspective on food production and sustainability, understanding the challenges and opportunities facing agriculture today.
Consequently, another essential result of the project with significant impact on the target groups, consists in setting up the Elective course. Through its lessons plans, the elective course helped students to develop practical skills, such as system design, plant management, and data analysis, which are highly transferable to various fields, but also critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. It prepared students to become future leaders in sustainable agriculture, capable of developing innovative solutions to these challenges, inspired students to start their own hydroponic businesses, creating new jobs and contributing to local economies and also contributed to the development of local food systems and support sustainable agriculture practices in the community.
Hydroponic Agriculture Case Pool is the third outcome, a collection of case studies showcasing the diverse applications and benefits of hydroponic agriculture, digital platform which connect teachers and students from our partnership, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange. The platform serves as a repository for best practices and innovative approaches to hydroponic agriculture. Students can showcase their projects, receiving feedback and recognition from peers and educators and teachers can find inspiration for new lesson plans, activities, and projects by exploring the work of others.
Project Mobile Application is a a powerful tool for both learners and practitioners, provide a valuable resource for learners and practitioners, empowering them to acquire knowledge, develop skills, and successfully implement hydroponic system.
